The Ohio State Highway Patrol is looking into a collision that claimed the life of a motorcycle-riding 20-year-old man.
Around 8:15 p.m., a collision occurred on Houghton Road close to Walton Road.
According to troopers, a 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis, driven by an 89-year-old woman, was traveling northbound between two driveways when she failed to yield and collided with Mason Ridgley’s 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle. Ridgley was 20 years old.
After being thrown off the motorcycle, Ridgley was declared dead at the spot.
The Mercury’s driver was unharmed.

According to the authorities, it doesn’t seem like drinking or drugs were involved in this collision.
