Following the recent news that Cyrus has separated from her husband of seven months, Liam Hemsworth, the singer was spotted making out with Brody Jenner's ex Kaitlynn Carter while on vacation. And now, the "Mother's Daughter" singer has dropped a brand-new single, which hints at the relationship turmoil she was going through.

Cyrus's new single, "Slide Away," is all about the end of a relationship. From reflecting on the great times to dwelling on the end, Cyrus seems to explore what went wrong in her marriage.

The track also hints at Hemsworth's rumored partying as Cyrus laments, "I want my house in the hills / Don't want the whiskey and pills." People previously reported, "Everyone always thinks Miley is problematic and immature and a hardcore partier while he's this chill surfer dude, but that's actually [not accurate]." And judging by the lyrics to "Slide Away," that might be the case.

While Cyrus concedes, "I don't give up easily," she seems to realize that, for now at least, the relationship is over, as she sings, "But I don't think I'm down."
